At what point did Rayshard Brooks disarm the officer?

He took the officer's Taser, which left the policeman no
choice but to shoot Brooks in the back.

Ah, of course. we all know how a man with no gun who's running away
from you can make you fear for your life. Must've been terrifying for
the officer.

He had the taser and was shooting at the cop.Â* He could have disabled
him, then took his gun and killed the cops.

There were two cops.

He was hit in the back but not shot in the back.Â* He was turning at the
time to attack the cop.Â* Justified shooting.Â* I'd have shot too.Â* So
would most others as soon as they were done ****ting their pants.

I'm up in the air on this one but leaning more towards the drunk. As
always, don't resist and there won't be problems, but he was drunk,
thus, rationality is out the window. He took a taser, not a gun. There
were two cops against one. Cops wear bullet proof vests. The taser
shoots out one set of projectile probes and has to be reloaded which
obviously, he didn't have nor probably not known how to do so in a
drunken stupor. If he was lucky to hit the cop with a taser, chances are
it would have done nothing due to vest protection. If it would have hit
him, chances are it wouldn't have done damage while the OTHER cop could
have ran at him and tackled him. IF he missed, he's one and done and
continue pursuing. If they couldn't catch him (would like to know how
they can't apprehend a drunk idiot), then as stated, wait till later
since they had his info and video proof.

I was taught if shooting a suspect/criminal, shoot them head on.
Shooting in the back means they are fleeing and the threat is over. If
that was a citizen, they'd be in jail. I have to side with the drunken
idiot. The cops used poor judgement and considering two couldn't keep
him down, they are seriously flawed in their techniques.

He wasn't worth the effort. They had his car and presumably his home
address. He racked up enough felonies to be totally screwed so let him
sleep it off in the bushes and pick him up the next day.

Supposedly he only blew 0.10 so I'm thinking there was something else
leading to his snooze like heroin or fentanyl.

Or maybe he suffers from narcolepsy, or he was tired???? A cousin
suffered from sleep apnea - which left him chronically sleep deprived
- and caused him to also suffer from narcolepsy. After going on CPAP
for ther apnea both sleep deprivation and narcolepsy were pretty much
a thing of the past. Used to be he'd fall asleep just about any time
he wasn't moving - just about killed him several times.(and when he
came to, he'd often be disoriented and you would have thought he was
"on something")

He must have had it as a child too, and fell asleep during the part of
"The Talk" where it is suggested that you not grab a cop's weapon and
attempt to shoot him with it.

If your cousin gets disoriented enough to punch out a cop, steal his
taser, and flee the scene while trying to shoot another cop with the
stolen taser I'm sure the Canadian cops would pat him on the head.
