Default dryer igniter replacement?

Any tips on replacing a dryer igniter?

Repair dude came over 30 min early and would not wait until the agreed time.. was not happy but decided to set up another day for him. On the phone i get "i need you to be there this time to let me in." i canceled of course, but never seen that kind of attitude.

Not looking forward to doing it, but repairmen are worthless around here. Last year i was lazy again and had a plumber come over to replace o rings. Estimate was over $400. He wanted to break open thru the back of the wall where the shower faucets are. Threw that rat out. Replaced both stems for $30 including buying the wrench and a 2 ft steel rod for leverage.

There are a couple of web sites that may help. www.repairclinic.com
will have the part. They may have some help too.

In the future, you should repost your whole post when you add the model
number. No one is going to go back and forth reading the post, t hen
the model, then back to the post to find out what the question was.
Subject lines are of no help.

There are fewer and fewer of them - but generally EXCELLENT quality
and reliability.

Look for Youtube videos.

Look at online parts store diagrams that show where it is and how
it's held together.
