"trade wars are easy to win" DIRECT HIT ON CONSUMERS Hundreds of retailers, footwear companies and business groups urged Trump to scrap the proposed tariffs, warning they would jack up consumer prices and trigger job losses. More than 200 U.S. footwear companies on Wednesday said the added 15% duties on shoes would come on top of tariffs that already average 11% and reach 67% on some shoes, boosting costs for consumers by $4 billion every year. Imposing tariffs in September on the majority of all footwear products from China - including nearly every type of leather shoe - will make it impossible for hardworking American individuals and families to escape the harm that comes from these tax increases, the companies wrote in a letter to Trump. -- Bod |

If President Trump represented you, you'd have a brexit deal by now. What deals has the Art of the Deal man negotiated for America so far? North Korea? No Iran? No China? No Immigration Reform with Congress? No His wall? No Healthcare? No The only deal that he has negotiated in two and a half years that I know of is NAFTA, where after all the complaining, all the lies, all the drama, he negotiated an agreement with Mexico and Canada that isn't substantively different than the previous NAFTA. He basically changed the name and now it's supposed to be tremendous. He;s a sick, mental, lying shyster that relishes stirring up crap, creating division, being on the news every day. He's incapable of leading and winning people over with sound, reasoned solutions. |

Someone has to provide the "free" healthcare and someone has to pay for the "free" healthcare. Yah, I know, you and Ocasio-Kotex prolly want to raise taxes on working people to provide the "free" healthcare to lazy slackers. |
