when you have too much exposure to the sun. The mutation probably
came about where there is not a lot of sunlight. Also, sine
it would not kill you before you reproduced, it would not be
removed from the gene pool.


No, the mutation "came about" everywhere. It did not pose a
problem to populations that lived in places with little sunlight, but
it certainly was a selective factor in places like Africa.
Proof ? Blue, green or yellow eyes are almost absent in
genuine (pure) African populations.

Interesting way of putting it. I do not see why you think we
are in disagreement.

Would the problem have stopped folks from reproducing before
it blinded them? If not, you would see it still in Africa.
