covering over some holes in plastic/vinyl siding
twenty five year old house with vinyl siding.
Yeah, it's drying out but most is ok. But... there are a bunch of places that were bumped against during moving or construction that have small holes, say up to one half by two inches. Suggestions as to patch material that'll hold up another few years until we do a full scale upgrade? Do you have any matching siding that could be glued over the holes, or are you starting from scratch?

Some sort of clear tape maybe? |
