Nasty stuff, like stinging nettles on steroids. It's going to get to the point where it will be too dangerous to do yard work in shorts. It's important to understand the mechanism .. " it produces sap containing chemicals that can cause human skin to react to sunlight, resulting in intense burns .." You might not know you've contacted it until later when the sun starts to cause the severe burns. The burns can be life-changing .. not just the life-lesson of poison ivy or nettles .. John T. |
