Bubble pak insulation?
I've seen this stuff in the stores. It resembles *bubble pak* and is silvered.
I wonder how good it really is. thanks, F |
Bubble pak insulation?
Id say BS if you notice they dont give a R rating they just say it
copares to , because of Radiant heat reflecting off of the foil. Its expensive for the R you get. Maybe Im wrong but I read the literature and found it vauge in its specs and how can it beat foamboard, its just Bubblewrap. |

Bubble, bubble with silver both sides, closed cell foam with silver both sides. Perforated, so there is ability for moisture to dissipate. It is not rated in the "R" system. I don't know why. I can tell you it works. I am in extreme South Louisiana and my heating bills are minimal. No **** your heating bill is minimal in the South what a dope! |

If it idoesnt have a U or R rating its because its crap compared to
other types ... Its only bubble wrap, the true Radiant % is Foil, Cheap foil. A simple test is hold it over a 100 watt bulb and feel the warmth , now do that with 1" of foam, No warmth. Get an R value or its a marketing ploy for the unedcated. |

You need to look at the R value & probably call those that deal with
insulation every day and ask them their thoughts. Don't tell me what I can understand, tell me what I can't mis-understand (Gen. Douglas McArthur)! No matter what you do you are a problem solver....what do you do? Arthur, Website: www.arthurhewett.com Email: "Fuzzfactor" wrote in message ... I've seen this stuff in the stores.
