If you don't have a trash service, but there's a trash transfer station or drop-off facility in the area, you can ask if they'll take it (usually for a fee). Burn or bury it. If you have a lot of oil, put it on Craigslist for the biodiesel enthusiasts. Restaurants have pickup services for their old oil; a local restaurant might accept yours if you ask nicely/give them a few bucks. |
