Over the last few weeks there has been loads of negativity surrounding the new iPhones omission of the headphone jack. And rightfully so.

Apple found a brand new way to rip off its customers- by charging an extra $150 for wireless AirPods (which youll definitely lose).

So YouTuber TechRax decided enough was enough after longing for the good ol days- where you could just listen through your bog standard headphones- by literally drilling a headphone jack into his new iPhone 7.

But you know that old saying, €œif it sounds too good to be true, it
probably is?€� Well, it looks like a load of people on YouTube didnt
quite get that this DIY experiment was clearly a bunch of bull.

In a few seconds, he successfully drilled a 3.5-mm €˜headphone jack into the phone and could play music through it, though of course you couldnt tell if it was coming from the built-in phone speakers or the wired Apple headphones.

So all that fuss over the missing headphone jack was for nothing! Until you try and listen to music through that freshly drilled hole, of course
