I have a wide variety of seeds ... some in long-term storage in the
freezer , but a lot right here at my elbow - the ones for planting in the
next few days are on my desk . Mostly field peas and squashes . Got the last
of the 'maters in the ground today , peppers are doing nicely and the zukes

too weird .

I have a bunch of stuff in, but the ground is still a bit cold and
germination is slow. I put in some Round-up-ready sweetcorn. That ends
the seeding problem for that produce. I am scouting out some English Ivy
or Boston ivy to provide a good climber for shady privacy screen.
I think that can be raised from cuttings but not sure. Maybe there is
even more aggressive vines available for shady area's?

I can think of one result that not only could - but very likely would
- be an order of magnitude worse. I'm not sure the USA could survive 4
years os Trump presidency - and I'm not sure it would recover from the
damage in your or my lifetime. Your last civil war was devastating.
The civil unrest of the sixties was terrible - but what Trump may
unleash may make both of them pale in comparison..

9-11 was a terrible disaster inflicted from outside the country - the
reaction to Trump's foriegn policies could make 9-11 look like a blip
on the radar.

The sad thing is - whichever one you get, it will be impossible to
know if the other would have been better or worse.

You just want to hope and pray that whichever one gets elected, there
is enough ballance in the senate to limit the damage either one can
do.

I remember Rush Limbaugh commenting on the Clinton
"surplus". What Slick Willie did was to slash the
military budget, and declare Social Security to be
off budget. The national debt rose at an alarming
level during the "surplus".

Takes your wind away, doesn't it.

It looks dismal for the Republicans, but to blame Trump for this is not
correct. With the demographic shifts the only way Republicans can win,
electorally, is to select a candidate with a lot of crossover appeal,
that can win the large swing states while retaining the traditionally
Republican states. Even at the beginning of the primary season, with 17
candidates, there wasn't a single one with a lot of crossover appeal.
Prior to the scandal in New Jersey, it was thought that Chris Christie
would have the most crossover appeal since he is not a Teavangelical.

Right now, the crossover votes look to be about even, 9% of Democrats
for Trump, 8% of Republicans for Clinton. That 1% Trump advantage in
crossover votes is not nearly enough.

Trump will do worse than Romney or McCain, but they could not win
either. He will at least do better than Barry Goldwater.

Trump will lose the election in November. That's why the GOP wants to
deny him of his nomination.

If Trump runs against Hillary in November, the voters will pick Hillary
(the lessor of two evils).

You know, I was in a Dollar General today, and

The Spirit of the Lord says it's personal choice
if I buy one. Neither encouraged, nor prohibited.

I'm thinking maybe tomorrow. I've got some repairs
needed on the work van, and that means more money
to spend. So, I'm not really eager to spend money
on a research item. Yes, it's only three bucks.

Curiosity got the better of me and when I was at Dollar General
yesterday getting some cheap glucosamine for my knees... I took the
giant leap and got the flashlight. I'm still trying to figure out why a
big double D size flashlight with only one D cell? Maybe because it's
an election year and anything can happen.
Of course I took it apart and there is what looks like a simple
transistor/resister circuit. The voltage at the bulb was about 1 volt
with the light in the circuit. The battery measured... well it's a D
cell so it's 1.5 volt. I suppose the transistor is actually some kind
of voltage regulating thing. The thing will probably be "repurposed"
for a bike light...maybe... or it will fall off the shelf and roll under
the bed.. to be discovered someday and taken to that "what the hell is
this thing and what's it worth" show on PBS.
Further independent study for those wanting extra credit...

Heck, shrimp and lobster make good stock.

"stock" is made out of bones; "broth" is made out of
meat.

You can make "stock" out of any bones, including
fish heads. Hmmm. Yum. Yuk! Probably an
acquired taste.

I make both chicken and beef stock.

Best I have found for hair, skin, joints, bones, etc.,
is made out of range free, grass fed beef bones. I
buy them from a local rancher that sells direct
to the public.

I have found that calcium supplements are not such a
good idea.

Grass fed beef can be tough and nasty, unless you find
someone that hangs and ages it. Mine does and it is so
yummy! Closest thing to wild game you can get. I also
find myself eating less of it as it is very high in
nutrition and I eat less to get the stuff. (I have
checked with my fellow Primals, and they also
noticed the same thing.) Helps with the cost.

Yes, indeed it was. They are not. Mormons
are polytheists. Christians are monotheists.
Mormons are Hellenists with Christian names
tacked on to their idols.

How huge a lie do you wish

Not a lie. Ask any Mormon if they are polytheist. It
is on the LDS web site too. You can't be a Christian
if you are a polytheist.

YES!!! Mormons are
Christians.

Now that it a lie in itself. Christians do
not worship idols and do not believe they

We are actually, to this

You can't be a Christian if you worship idols. Reusing
Christian names on your idols doesn't make you
a Christian. Cleaver, but not a Christian.

And you are still a nice guy and you are not going to

Sola scriptura if not a biblical principle by the
way.

When was the last time you heard of a Mormon beheading a non believing Infidel?
All the Mormons I've ever met were wonderful folks. When the hurricane tore up the Northeast a while back, a group of Mormon youth showed up to help out just like groups from other churches. ^_^

Got a lot of sweet Mormons on my dad's side of the family.

And who shows up first to help after a natural disaster? The Mormons.

Society benefits when all religions complete in good work.
The Religion of Peace needs to take notice of that.

Curiosity got the better of me and when I was at Dollar General
yesterday getting some cheap glucosamine for my knees... I took the

big double D size flashlight with only one D cell?

I had a weak moment, today. Went and bought one. The
one battery worked, the light shines a very blue,
poorly focussed spot on the ceiling. It's about
twilight, so it's a pretty fair test of light output.
I plan to do some testing after dark. Also check amp
draw, battery life, and a few things like that.

So far, with the initial moment or two of testing, it
appears to be a reasonable value.

Well. If Eve had the good sense to steal fruit from the OTHER tree.

know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also
of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: ..."

Then there is that pesky "us".

Mark 22:25 KJV

For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry,
nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which
are in heaven.

Means 1) no families in heaven and 2) you are as angles, not gods

What makes you think that Mormonism is the truth? Mormons
do not follow what Jesus taught, the scriptures teach, and
thousands of years of Christian teaching. Anything that
doesn't pass that stink test is not the truth.
