What in the hell is wrong with this newsgroup today?

I'm finding replies to threads in the wrong thread.

For example, in the thread "Christopher A. Young passed away", there is
a reply to the thread about lubricating a car antenna, and two replies
to my silly thread about a shark in a PEX elbow.

Everyone occasionally posts to the wrong thread, but that example is
already three wrong, and there are a few other threads that are all
scrambled up, and dont even come close to the subject. (or even make
sense). The latest replies to the "Dog Whistles" thread is another
example.

It's almost like something got scrambled in the system, not human error.
All of these are from the past 24 hours or less.

I cant say I've ever seen this happen before......

I do agree with you, not seen that. And not
sure why. Of course, the libs will blame

Not much to be done. As for me, I blame the

That would be expensive now. What are they over $3 apiece? Of course
sometimes they have coupons 2 / 1 and now they are putting the coupons on

You're using an old version of Agent. If the number of headers in one
ng gets too great, that is what happens.

You can make a folder for old headers and their articles, or just
delete them.

I'm not sure if newer versions of Agent have this problem, because I
just changed to a newer version in August, from 1.93, and I only have
12,000 articles. For more advice, ask on the agent ng.

For example, in the thread "Christopher A. Young passed away", there is
a reply to the thread about lubricating a car antenna, and two replies
to my silly thread about a shark in a PEX elbow.

Everyone occasionally posts to the wrong thread, but that example is
