3. Now trade him one of those motorcycles to replace the engine in your
car.
4. Ride the other motorcycle while he's repairing the car.
5. After the car is repaired, take the mechanic to a bar and get him
drunk for his efforts.
6. While he's drunk, trade him your other motorcycle for your *now
running* car.

Total cost: How ever much you spent on booze and put on your bar tab!
[with any luck, you can pay off your bar tab by giving the bartender
