ABOOT CHICKEN CASSEROLES
 

Casseroles have long been an American favourite. I like 'em because they
provide an excellent way of using leftovers. Often as not, they may be
prepared ahead and then popped into the oven at the last moment.
A well qualified casserole dish should be heavy, to provide even
cooking. Ovenproof ceramic and enameled cast iron are good, though even a
heatproof glass baking dish can be used.
