It's still $18.40/case + 8.75% tax for one case, but if you buy two cases,
the price has changed to "buy 6 gallons get 2 free", whose math turns out
to then be 6 gallons x $4.60 each gallon + $0.41 tax each gallon = $30.00,

That pool store in Saratoga used to give you a case free for every case of
12% Hasa and then one by one they dropped it by a gallon at a time over the
years. Ask for Dave or Ted. They open at 10 but are often late to open up.

With Covid Chlorine use being high, the prices are off the charts currently
at $22.66 per gallon (the monthly ValuePak coupon only gives you one free
gallon per case where a case, if you don't know, is four gallons).

Plus they have a buy 10 get one free card which they will stamp for you.

They don't ever split up a case, so they just discount that one gallon out
of the case you already have but with Covid high use, they limit it now to
two cases per customer.

The 29% muriatic acid is currently $36.95/case.

As for the cyanuric acid, if you ask them nicely, they'll let you fill up
your own container with the fine powder that their professionals use.

You'll want that powder because it dissolves much better than the CYA
granules they sell on the shelves. There's also a Leslie's across the street
but it's a "Commercial Store" so they only sell their chemicals to pool
maintenance companies (even as the store looks like any other Leslie's).

Leslies is $24.99/case for 12% Hasa Chlorine & $19.19/case for Hasa 29% HCL.

Given they're exactly the same thing it goes to show you never get what you
pay for. You just pay for whatever it is that you get.

In this case Leslie's has a much better price for the Hasa muriatic acid and
the Pool Guys have a slightly better price for the Hasa chlorine.

Both will price match but why reward the guy who only gives you a good price
when he's going to lose the sale otherwise. Leslie's will not price match
the buy-1-case-get-1-gallon-free coupon or the buy-10-cases-get-1-case-free
card either.

Both are limiting people to two cases per visit due to Covid overuse.
Home Depot & Walmart Chlorine is only 10%vv & I think the HCL is 18% vv.

What are the prices where you live?
