Channel 45 news in Blatimore in the 10PM hour said the odds of being
hit were one in iirc 32,000 and compared it with the odds of winning
the lottery. They really don't get it, and they also don't pay
attention to their news feed. .

The odds that someone will be hit are, they calculate, iirc, one in
32,000. The odds that someone will win t he lottery are close to 1,
and when no one wins the money goes into next weeks lottery, until
somone does win.
