Epoxy & Constant Water Exposure
On May 29, 11:13*am, croy wrote:
I know there are an untold number of epoxy formulations out there, but generally speaking, how does epoxy hold up to contant water exposure (think submersion) at temps between 40 & 180 deg F? -- croy Commercial/industrial epoxy liquid processing tanks and vats are relatively common. In general, common boat repair, adhesives, and such formulations are not suitable. Many common resins can be heat and autoclave cured with hardeners developed for those processes. If you need some equipment of that type, contact those manufacturers or used equipment and tankage suppliers. Suppliers of plating tankage will have plastic items that will hold liquids at the temperature you need. Joe |
