Opinions on Goettl Air Conditioners?
 

Several have hit the nail on the head-- Goettl are made in Phoenix and
designed for Phoenix. They have a reputation for being nearly
bulletproof, and have been for decades-- hardly a fly by night outfit.
They were even mentioned in a "Modern Marvels" episode some time back.
