forced hot water system - no advustment valve on living roomradiators
greetings!
i have a colonial house with a forced hot water system. All of the radiators have round knobs to adjust the heat but the living and dining room units are build into the wall and are blasting heat at full force. Is there a way to adjust these units to lower the heat? thanks for your help! |
forced hot water system - no advustment valve on living room radiators
The flush mount rads at my parents house do have a valve,
near the bottom. If there is no valve there, you may be able to limit the heat by covering part of the radiator with a blanket, or something that helps hold the heat into the radiator. Hot water systems aren't a fire hazard, only steam systems over 15 PSI. -- Christopher A. Young Learn more about Jesus www.lds.org ..
