My best recollection (my neighbor just bought & used most of a 500
ft spool) is ~$1 / foot

Check Craigslist & ebay (local to save on shipping)

I'd check them - but I'd also price it online. If Mcmaster-Carr is
as quick and cheap in Steve's part of the world-

#6 is 89cents/foot in 9 colors. 44 cents if you take the 500 foot
