It's amazing the FTC hasn't gone after this company by now. IMO, this
miracle cooler is an even worse scam than their Amish miracle heater.
I see their full page ads in the local newspaper all the time. No
explanation of how it works, or exactly what it is, only phrases that
attribute it's workings to a miracle of engineering from the China
coast.

Now we know from Consumers Reports that it's nothing more than an
overpriced swamp cooler, with some added ice trays that hardly lowered
their test room temp at all, even in a room with low humidity.

I have a larger industrial unit that I bought
from WW Grainger years ago and it works as it
was meant to. Evaporative coolers work great
for homes in places where the humidity is low.
In areas that are desert like, the coolers are
wonderful. The things aren't worth a damn around
here in the Southeast for cooling a home.

And they need alot of wet pad area to give the air a chance to
actually cool down from the evaporation. Most of the little coolers
simply don't have enough pad area to do much of anything.
