Colorwashing: Light Layer Over Dark?

Hi,

After following the instructions from a Benjamin Moore pamphlet, I
need to fix the result of my colorwashing project.

Base layer = light peach (color names are approximations)
1st glaze layer = pale yellow
2nd glaze layer = light pumpkin

The final appearance is way too orange for me, so I removed a lot of
the 2nd glaze layer with 50-75% isopropanol in water. My question is
this: can I even everything out by repeating a wash of the 1st lighter
color glaze?

P.S. I don't know how they did it, but the Benjamin Moore paint store
mixed up the glaze, but I think they screwed it up. During glaze
application, it dries in maybe 15-20 seconds to the point where I
can't work it anymore. I think I need to dilute it with water.
