.... would you rather have:

A reckless, impulsive, unstable (labeled "hot-tempered" by his own
peers; refused a Navy command as "unfit to command") poorly-educated
man born to wealth and position, whose whole life has been seeking his
father and grandfather's approval....who made it into the Naval
Academy on family connections... who graduated fifth from the bottom
of a 900+ person class...who managed through the same Daddy
connections to avoid getting thrown out out of the Academy after
crashing several planes (one in a stunt) that would have ended anybody
else's career...who drank and wenched his way through life, including
the military...who in Vietnam decided not to follow protocol and take
evasive action when a SAM locked onto his plane, but proceeded to
bomb the target -- and got shot down...who saved his life by trading
information to the enemy for FIVE years...who is the only one of many,
many equally mistreated POWs to methodically exploit his captivity
for career and political ends...who betrayed the crippled wife who had
patiently waited for him by courting a much-younger rich young cutie,
taking out a marriage license for her before divorcing his loyal
wife...who denounces his opponent as "elite" while he can't even
remember how many houses he owns.....who has voted 95% with the
bought-and -sold incumbent, to the detriment of our country here and
abroad...who said himself he doesn't know much about economics...who
voted consistently against the banking industry regulations that might
well have prevented economic collapse here and world-wide...who has
disgusted even his own Party by pandering to the radical religious
right...who has shown terrifyingly bad judgment by naming an
unqualified Vice President (who might become President) based on two
brief interviews and NO vetting by the FBI...in short, an unqualified
candidate for the Presidency he has hungered for all his life.

OR

A cool, calm, patient, very well-educated (PhD in international
relations; taught Constitutional Law at one of the best universities
in the country (full disclosu I am a U of C alumg)... a biracial
man who has made his way up NOT by family connections but
on pure talent, carefully making his way around the still-powerful
racial barriers to success...who is happily married not to a rich
dish, but to a strong professional woman who made her own way up...
who is the involved parent of two young children...who has worked with
and for the common people all his life...a man who surrounds himself
with advisers who are specifically tasked (unlike the incumbent) to
bring him all sides of a question; to elucidate our position in light
of world circumstances; who are instructed to disagree/argue when
necessary.

As a results-oriented voter who researches carefully and who is
not given to baseless prejudice, my choice is clear.

Gee. Let me think....

Which one is most likely to kill those who would do us harm? Who would send
their wives and children into the snow, their feet covered with blood-soaked
rags and the valleys echoing with the lamentations of their loved ones
begging for the succor of the grave and it being denied?

Gotta be McCain.

Some corrections and additions.

McCain owns ONE house (a duplex in Phoenix) and ONE car (his wife and her
company own several homes and several hundred vehicles). Obama, likewise,
owns one home in Chicago obtained with help from sources who shall not be
named.

As for voting against banking regulations, it was actually McCain who was a
co-sponsor of the Mae & Mac regulatory reform bill in 2005 (defeated by the
Democratic congress).

Regarding vetting by the FBI, the FBI does not vet presidential or
vice-presidential candidates. If it did, Obama, based on his associations,
would not even qualify for a security clearance.

McCain owns 21 pets: 4 dogs, 1 cat, 3 parakeets, and 13 fish. Obama has no
pets - especially dogs.

I will take McCain rather than a racist who only left his white hating
church which he attended for twenty years, after it became a liability
to his political campaign. This says nothing about his hateful wife!!!!

You mean the one who votes "present"?
He is unable to make a decision unless his staff of hundreds leads him along.
A world leader must make decisions. It's the most important thing about being a
leader.
He is also going to have to spend a lot of time paying back the folks or
corporations from overseas that donated millions to his coffers.

Smart when you're aiming to be president or the rest of the yokels are
fubar.

He is unable to make a decision unless his staff of hundreds leads
him along.

Any moron can make a decision. Informed decisions might take a little
more effort. The
"bail out", a mad dash to keep the sky from falling, is one of the
worst. Dumbya made an
uninformed decision to go into Iraq, which any clown could have done.
The more I see of
McCain, the more alike to Bush he seems. A couple of party animals with
pathologic
testosterone levels. McCain survived POW? BFD! An animal might have,
and it
ain't qualification to be dog catcher or president. Clinton did far
better with one hand
tied behind his back. I suspect Dumbya has been curled up with a bottle
the past year
or two - why wait until hell breaks loose to send out the Sec. Treas. to
tell the world the
sky is falling?

A world leader must make decisions. It's the most important thing
about being a leader.
He is also going to have to spend a lot of time paying back the folks

My hobby of genealogy is easier thanks to FDR and the CCC .... all kinds
of records are compiled by CCC, apparently
a make-work project a tad better than soup lines.

As for Obama having "executive experience", I don't think McPalin have a
clue what it is. Military command is NOT
executive experience, because there is no choice as to whether to
follow. O'Bama put together multi-million $
org. than runs like the best corporations, nationwide, organized to
perfection and up to the moment in
responding. Wow! Iamsuspendingmycampaign McCain didn't know what in
heck to do and had to DO
SOMETHING! Answer: Give a stupid press release and get picture taken
"doing something". He
probably has enough money to hire a speech writer, but keeps spewing the
same tired, OLD, bs
half-truths. As for Obama being socialist, McCain has lived, cradle to
old age, on the gov't. support
and a far less than mediocre military career. So like Bush.

Cut the propaganda crap. It's been proven over and over that he's a citizen
and he's as much citizen as McCain who was born in Panama.

If Jesus of Nazareth would run as candidate for Messiah you would
probably receive an e-mail such as what follows.
__________________________________________________ _____________________________
Warning to the concerned voters for the position of Messiah:

I am running for Messiah against Jesus. I may not be the perfect
candidate but there are a few questions about my opponent that need answers.

1. Jesus wants to be the Messiah of all Christians but he never was a
Christian. He is a Jew. He attended Jewish schools and has been seen in
the Hebrew temple.

2. It is a well known fact that he mingles with unrepentant thieves,
prostitutes and lepers. How can we know he is not indeed a thief with
leprosy and a penchant for prostitution?

3. He wants to be called Jesus the carpenter but has anyone ever seen
him hold a hammer?

4. Jesus fed large crowds with little bread and fish. He also can
resuscitate dead people: Is he actually a shaman?

5. And what can he tell us of that large unknown part of his life of
which nobody has any notion? We want some answers.

6. Jesus is too young and inexperienced to be a Messiah. He's lacking
the years and the wisdom of, say, Moses. Can you trust the salvation of
your soul to a young and untested Messiah?

7. Jesus claims to be the son of God, but his mother was married to
Joseph. Is he an impostor?

8. Jesus is originally from Nazareth in the West Bank. You know that
those latte-sipping, Volvo-driving yuppies in the West Bank cannot be
trusted.

9. Am I the only one to notice that the color of his skin is just a
shade lighter than other Jews? Makes you wonder if he really is a Jew.

10. Jesus keeps saying: "Let the little children come to me". Is he a
pedophile?

11. How can he explain being around all that wine?

12. Finally, Jesus is preaching that we'll have to share our wealth with
poor people, which proves once and for all that HE IS A COMMIE!

We cannot take the chance to have Jesus for Messiah. He claims he wants
change, but what's his real program?

If you agree with me, send this message to ten friends. Stay tuned on
RNC (Rabid Network Connection) for more on Jesus the Impostor.

waiting for some of that warm 'n fuzzy stuff to show itself in his

Perhaps it's something he will later instruct them in [while not

Fair warning to Obama voters....you will be expected to display a higher

Kinda sounds like all the bull **** about Bush being AWOL doesn't it?
We have heard that crap for the last eight years...you can listen to
this for the next four.

Unfortunately, the AWOL charge is true. But, like McCain whose Daddy
covered for him, Bush's Daddy did the same.

Interesting how the McCain apologists can manage to
address anything, however trivial and irrelevant, about his
opponent, rather than deal with the core issue making McCain
unfit to serve: His lifelong reckless instability. Look again
at the Subject.

Obama has no
pets - especially dogs.- Hide quoted text -

Since Obama has been "American Idol preened" by his Hollywood
promoters to set a 'feel good' agenda of 'Peace, Hope, Love and
Unity'....I'm waiting for some of that warm 'n fuzzy stuff to show
itself in his supporters. When will they start practicing it in

their
daily encounters? I hear more fighting, ugly, hateful and

divisionary
attitudes instead.

Perhaps it's something he will later instruct them in [while not
honoring our country's flag on his airplane (by designing his own
'flag' logo) or failing to put his hand over his heart??....or
probably when he changes our National Anthem to "I'd Like To Teach

The
World To Sing In Perfect Harmony". Yeah, that will promote 'unity'
and 'change' alright.....lot's of change.

Fair warning to Obama voters....you will be expected to display a
higher standard of your peace, hope, love, love, love and unity
intentions, as proud examples of his success, should he win.

Impeachment by the House of Representatives

Impeachment proceedings were initiated during the post-election, "lame duck"
session of the outgoing 105th Congress.

Upon the passage of H. Res. 611, Clinton was impeached on December 19, 1998,
by the House of Representatives on grounds of
perjury to a grand jury (by a 228-206 vote) and
obstruction of justice (by a 221-212 vote).
Two other articles of impeachment failed - a second count of perjury and
one accusing Clinton of abuse of power.
