Default JOE THE PLUMBER? Try "Joe the Fraud" -- Or "Joe the Tax-Dodger" -- Or "Joe the Republican Plant"

Kersnip babblefest.

Whatever you may wish to say about Joe the Plumber, remember that
Obama showed up on his street. Unless the RNC knew where Obama was
going to stump and on what particular date and time and purchased Joe
a house beforehand and had him primed to be a plant, then no, he isn't
a plant.

He may be a fraud and tax dodger, but Obama came up to him and put
himself up to be asked a question.

So Obama solicited Joe the Plumber.

Obama's mistake was to assume that everyone would be enamored of him
and ask him "appropriate" questions.

Not Joe's. Joe took an opportunity to ask an uncomfortable question.
Please be a little more thoughtful and accurate.

And McCain brought him up 21 times in the debate, making him an issue. Smart
move John.
Joe's lies are now fair game.

Joe asked a question and this happens? He can't control what McCain
does. This really encourages citizens to ask questions, doesn't it?

are well-publicized events.

Joe the Plumber is not a plant. Obama went to Joe's neighborhood, not

utter a Marxist mantra.

Joe, and the people who prepped and sent him, know exactly where
Obamas campaign will be. It's wide reported. Campaigns announce where
they will be because that's the whole point of campaigning. And your
"marxist mantra" comment is just plain goofy. At least its easy to see
that you have some experience with being brainwashed.

Joe is closely related to Charles Keating. That's a pretty hot smoking
gun.

If you really believe that, then why didn't the DNC be more aware of
who is in the neighborhood and have Obama's handlers keep him away

from a fraudulent, tax dodging friend of the Republicans?

Kim

Did the RNC announce in advance that they'd be doing that? Surely you
don't think the DNC screens the people who attend their events (even
though that's something Bush did -- don't project RNC tactics onto the
DNC)?

You really think the RNC Knew serveral years ahead of time
that Obama was going to go through that neighborhood and move JtP in
there for a gotcha moment? Gee you gotta admire their work thinking that
far ahead.

You miss the point. Given a few days notice they could choose their
time and place, and find somebody with at least minimal plausibility
to prep and push forward in the crowd. That they couldn't find a
real, licensed plumber shows just how inept their campaign is.

You really are a dull knife, aren't you? Obama went to HIS street.
There was no push forward by anyone.

You sure? You seem to (at least think you) have the inside skinny on
this one -- who are you working for?

Obama came to him.

Sheesh.

Really? Obama gave ACORN $800,000 for lighting?

Sarcasm escapes you, doesn't it?

Got a non-blogger cite on that one?

Thought not.

Don't need one, you supplied it below.

Here's factcheck.org, from the right-wing Annenberg Foundation.

You mean the right wing foundation that nobama worked for?

http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2...cusations.html
The Obama campaign also paid Citizens Services Inc., a group
affiliated with ACORN, more than $800,000 for get-out-the-vote (not
voter registration) efforts during the primary election. The nature of
CSI's services was initially misrepresented on the Obama campaign's
disclosures to the Federal Election Commission, which the campaign
describes as an oversight. The Obama campaign says it has not been
involved with ACORN during the general election.

Fair enough.

He asked a question with a contrived story and a clear agenda. He's fair game,
and McCain made sure of it.

From the same article: "FEC spokeswoman Mary Brandenberger said it is
not unusual for campaigns to amend reports, even regarding large sums of
money."

A far more interesting and relevant story is the fundraiser John McCain
hosted for self-acknowledged terrorist, G. Gordon Liddy, whom McCain has
called "a friend."

The fundraiser was mentioned by David Letterman on his show. Here's
another place to start:

G. Gordon Liddy a terrorist?

Do you mean G. Gordon Liddy the lawyer, FBI agent, prosecutor, movie and
television actor, author (with million-copy bestsellers), and talk show host
(over 160 stations)? The G. Gordon Liddy who was sentenced to 20 years for
political dirty-tricks and whose sentence was commuted by President Carter?

Do you mean the G. Gordon Liddy who was commander of the Armies of the
North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor,
Marcus Aurelius. And who will have his vengeance, in this life or the next?

Besides WTF does it matter, he asked a legitimate question and got a
