Hello,
Was running my Ariens snowblower for about 1/2 hour prior to putting it away for summer. Model 7524. Noticed an oil leak (small) coming from where the bottom of the AL block meets the sheet bottom. This was in the vicinity of the oil drain tube. (It is quite likely that it was leaking like this the few times I used it this winter, but went unnoticed) Am quite sure that the oil drain tube, or any other tapped and plugged port in the vicinity, were Not leaking. Really seems to be from the very bottom interface betgween the bottom of the AL and the sheet metal of the blower itself. Are there any openings or seals/gaskets down there ? Any thoughts on ? Thanks, Bob |
