recently moved this gas dryer and now doesn't seem to be heating at a
reasonable rate. any suggestions as to how/what to troubleshoot

Insufficient venting? A mostly-blocked gas line? Damage during the move?

Remove the service cover, untape the diagram and troubleshooting
instructions from the back side of the panel and read them

check the vent hose if it was squished when moved it wont exhause the air
and wont dry as good as before.
