Sorry - I intended to agree with you and "put another nail in the coffin".

In fact the only place it is even referenced is in 210.52(B)(1)ex2
where they allow a dedicated receptacle for the fridge that is not
"serving the countertop" .
That may be gone in 2008. I still haven't seen the final copy.

I see they are out at Barnes & Noble.

I never read the final decision. I thought I read somewhere it was more
like (almost all) 120/15/20 outlets had to be AFCI if not required to be
GFCI.
