All manufacturer's of Unitary Residentila HVAC equipment make models that are "economy" minded. If that's what you want, that's what you can get. Most offer several models, some are bottom line, some are top line. What's your preference? -- Zyp |

Yorks garbage
the GY9 92% furnaces have had a lot of problems with the draft inducers.
and the plastic drain pans on there evap coils are so cheesey if you sneeze on them they crack.i just dont think york is worth the money that you pay for it. "me" wrote in message ... OTOH the alt.hvac newsgroup is crazy and nasty, mostly because some psycho thinks he's the moderator and hates home owners (calls them "home moaners"). Consumer Reports said that central HVAC systems were generally very reliable, but York, Heil (we have one), and Goodman/Janitrol were among the worst. The best were Trane/American Standard and Rheem/Ruud. |
