Another housing fad that proves the American public is infatuated with
ugly things...the new houses are ugly, the DINKS drive ugly SUV's, men
wear sloppy open collared shirts, sport three day stubble, women do
their hair with eggbeaters and grease, even basketball players wear
uniforns three sizes too large. It's hard to understand why anyone
would want a 1/2 ton countertop thet has to be babied with lotions and
sealers. Even plumbing fixtures are aping some of the absolutley most
atrocious Victorian designs. The place for granite is out in the
cemetary where it can be at peace with it's neighbors and not be
totally out of place in 30 years. My nickels's worth...after
inflation.
