Gas Dryer 'Clicking'
Hi all,
About 6 months or so ago I replaced the Igniter coils on my Amana Model #LG330RAW. I did this because the flame would not stay lit. And this fixed the problem. I have noticed, since then, that the coils seem to do a lot of clicking. From what I can tell, when the flame needs to re-light the coils click between 8 to 10 times in very rapid succession. The flame seems to be doing staying lit fine. Also, the automatic sensor that tells the dryer when to shut off doesn't always work. Sometimes it will shut off fine, other times it will run for hours (bonus at the price of gas these days). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. mark |
