Use a plunger and push the cat on through. Flush several times
afterward to make sure it is passed on out of the house lines and then
unload.

You're right. My humble apology to all two year olds...

Use a cordless drill, and drill a 1/8 inch hole in the back of
the cat. Then, use an automotive dent puller to pull the cat back
out. Put the cat in the clothes dryer for half hour to 45 minutes
on "cotton fluff" and you're good as new.
