What I Learned About Leaky Kitchen Appliances

Have been finding puddles near fridge and dishwasher, not large amounts
and not consistently. Repair guy out today. Defrost drain on s/b/s
freezer was plugged and bottom of freezer full of ice. Removed ice,
unplugged drain. He said that, while plugged, it would tend to leak
about every 8 hrs. when the defrost fan comes on.

Dishwasher has plastic liner, soap buildup sticks to plastic, creates
bubbles that leak through door. Solution was to dump about a quart of
white vinegar into bottom of dw, run through a cycle to remove soap
buldup. Should repeat every 3/4/5 months.
