Craftsman remote garage door opener issue
I replaced the batteries to the garage door opener remote and it still
won't work. I opened the craftsman unit and found the dip switches. They are numbered 1-9. On my remote they are numbered 2-9. How does this work? Was I given a faulty remote? Please advice - & thanks for your help in advance. |

There are thousands of models. If you do not have the instructions, write
down the model number and check Sear's site for the instructions and follow them. Many are programmable and you have to follow instructions to get them to work together. wrote in message oups.com... Your transmitter is a multi-button remote & the #1 switch on the
receiver determines which button on the transmitter operates the door. So switches 2-9 should be set the same on both. One button would be "+" on #1 on the receiver, the 2nd button would be "0" and the 3rd button would be "-".
