I've not, but I can offer this, they tend to subcontract everything
they do in the services field and hence cost at least 2x the
competition.

I had them out for grins to quote siding and windows and their quote
was over 3x the one I used. Very polished presentation and samples of
course, but so expensive you wonder how they stay in business.

A local service company?? Who do you think is sent when you call
Sears? They don't have a staff of HAVC specialists sitting around on
payroll. There are lots of incompetent people in the trade and you
better have a referral if you want a good one.

Oh, they send a local company that will work for cheap and let Sears make a
lot of money. They may or may not be competent, but they are certainly high
priced.

I don't have much confidence in Sears anything at all. Definitely not
a heater inspection.
