wiring fan/light combo and 3 way switch
I am wanting to replace an older fan with a new one.
Here is the current wire setup....(hopefully my terminology is right) I have two 3-way light switches, one at top of stairs and one at the bottom. There is a 12-3 w/ ground running between the switches. The switch at the top of the stairs has a 12-2 w/ ground running to the fan location. All of this is powered by a 12-2 w/ ground running to the switch at the bottom. Can I hook this up somehow to use both switches, and to use a switch(es) that has 2 controls - one for the fan, and one for the light???? this is the switch I want to use. http://www.prolighting.com/lus2skduslfa.html thanks- patrick |
