Exterior Latex Paint O.K. To Use Over Oil Based Primer ?
Hello:
For an exterior application, I will be using an oil based primer, probably, on some new T1-11 plywood siding. Can a normal exterior Latex paint go over an oil based primer ? Anyone have any experience with brands, types, etc. of oil primers on T1-11 ? Oil based primer safe for T1-11 ? Thanks, Bob |

Latex over real slow drying oil is, the, standard recomended way, it
always has been. Go to a real paint store that only sells paint to talk to a pro, not an HD HO. |

Yes, you can use latex over oil primer [but not latex over oil finish].
