new sink and drain issues with dishwasher tailpiece...

I just plopped in a new sink and the depth was a bit greater than my
old one apparently.

I can fitt all the parts for the drain together but the second i try to
put in the Y tail piece or whatever you call it ...to hook up my
dishwasher (before the trap) then the geometry is all messed up.

I dont know how the hell im going to get this to line up. I cant move
my drain that comes horizontally out of the wall up or down at all (not
an option).

My only hope is they sell a really small (short) tail piece or they
sell some sort of inline drain that i can tap into up on where the
drain comes down from one of the 2 drains horizontally and tap in on
that before it joins to connect to the trap.

I thought just cutting my current dishwasher tail piece down realy
really short would do it but nope.........

lets put it this way......every thing fits perfect without that piece
......right to the trap so i have to find somewhere else to tap in the
dishwasher.

Any thoughts? Some one has had to run into this before. Please help
.....hehe i want to get my sink finished today :)

is a flanged tailpiece which connects directly to your sink strainer
outlet. You would only need a couple inches of free height.
