Is there a Gas Log Lighter that uses 1 lb propane bottles?
Does anyone know if there is Gas Log Lighter that works with the 1 lb.
propane bottles? Last year, someone on eBay had a device that connected to one of the small 1 lb propane bottles. It appeared to have about a 16-18 long piece of pipe, hose, and valve that connected onto the small 1 lb bottles. It pipe was designed to slide into a side-loading fireplace. Once it assisted the starting of the wood logs, the gas was turned off, and the the pipe was removed. If carefully used, I believe something like this would work great in my old Birmingham Stove/Fireplace. If you are aware of this item and know where it can be obtained, your information would be appreciated. |

Why not just get one of those small propane torches?
If the common ones are too shoer, you can buy them with a hose about 2 feet long.
