Sort of like asking "how big is a cloud?"
Tiles come in about 50 different material, all costing something different
for installation. Over wood, over concrete, on a wall. on a counter

No.
Just get several estimates, that is the best way.

I had my est done yesterday....

Chinaman came in, would not speak a "word of engless" looked
for about 10 min - said two sousand dollas, no? 2.66 per tile
with you underlayment, baseboards, mortar, etc, etc....

Sounds like DIY for me.
