Default Maytag Neptune class action

I remember a bunch of complaints here a little while back, involving wax
motors and circuit boards and things.

I just received a mailing this morning about a class action settlement
involving Maytag and the machine purchasers, so maybe relief is at hand.

I've had no trouble with mine so far except the mildew problem - and
maybe I have a higher tolerance for mildew than some folks...

You beat me to it!

I was on cloud 9 when I got this. I have been so depressed about this
machine. It has broken twice, and still doesn't spin correctly.

Last night I took out a load of clothes, and they basically stank. None of
the stains were removed!

And while I was down there I noticed the huge amount of mildew on the door
seal. I also had gross mold growing in the fabric softener bin and under
it.

I'm going for a total refund! Wish me luck!

when our machine would randomly select water temps and the water would not
always turn on they fixed everything with the replacement kit the moldy door new
circuit board and we just paid 25.00 for the new valve. the machine spins far
better now too it does not have as many starts and stops when trying to high
speed spin.

Please tell me what they did to fix the spin. The inept repairman charged
me $110 and did absolutely nothing. In fact he maintained it wasn't
supposed to do a "full spin" until the last cycle!

part of the repair/upgrade kit was a new circuit board. along with all of the
seals and such to let the water drain out of the door. that made it spin like it
should and fixed the temp control problems.

The class action suit has nothing to do with the spin. It applies to those who
have had to have repairs done due to damage by mold accumulation.
