Gibson HVAC Air Handler Condensate Drain Pipe Flushing
My friend had his Gibson A/C air handler shut off on him this weekend
due to a clogged condensate water drain pipe. Luckily it had a "Safe-T- Switch" so that the backed up water in the drip pan didn't leak into the house. I helped him unclog the pipe and flush out all the mold/mildew/fungus. We took pictures of the process and created a quick guide for others who may be having the same problem. The procedure should be very similar for other air handler units from popular manufacturers such as Trane, GE, Mars, Rheem and Carrier. Here's the guide - http://www.paulstravelpictures.com/G...lushing-Guide/ I hope someone finds it to be useful. Cheers, Paul |
