Sponge extension?

I'm looking for a pole or wand with a sponge on the end, to use for
cleaning shower walls or cleaning the bathtub while standing up.
Preference would be an extension wand that would allow attachment of
any kind of sponge. Happen to know whether anything like this is
available? Thanks!

Better repost specifying the length you require. E.g. I
could find at Home Hardware (Canadian chain)
1. Aluminum telescopic unit (5 to 9 feet) with standard
screw at the top end (as used by broom heads, paint
rollers etc.)
2. Fibreglass extension rods for chimney brushes
(screw with different thread than #1) in 4-foot lengths,
of which several can be connected.
