Old Bathroom - Can't figure out what type of faucet I have

I want to replace the facuet assembly in the sink in my bathroom. This
house was built in the late 50's and has a differnt style of faucet.
The faucet mounts through the verticle part of the sink bowl, not like
the newer faucets which mount on the horizonal surface above the sink
bowl.

What is this facuet style called? Where can I pick a replacement up?
From center to center the holes are 4 1/2" apart.

It is similar to a wall mount but the spicket is only about an inch
long.

If it is truly vertical, it is called a "shelf back" faucet.
If at a 45 degree angle, it's a "slant back".

Hard to find. Central Faucet may still make them.

Installing it will be a real pain.
More than likely, basin comes off the wall to get
in there.

You might consider just getting a whole new sink.
