Default female DIN to dual female RCA

I'm trying to do the same with a XLR/DIN microphone jack. Looking at the
vandenhul.com link that loedown provided, it has wiring for XLR to a
single RCA jack. For the dual RCA cable I have, would I connect both
(left and right) RCA core cables to pin 2 of the XLR or utilize pin 3 of
the XLR for one of the RCA cables?

Thanks.
