Oscillator in test equipment

Hi all !

I would like to know what kind of oscillator are used in test equipments
such as spectrum or network analyzers.

These oscillators are very accurate (maybe 10 Hz) but have very good
phase noise and low spurious...

Is that a special NCO with noise shaping ??
