Sony GDM-500PS slow turn on?

I have a problem with this monitor. First when it receives a signal, the
picture comes slowly and first fuzzy, but after 10-15 min.
it seems to be much better, but still a little fuzzy.
Same response with the HD15 and BNC connections.

Check the CRT filament voltage with a DMM. If it's less than 6.3,
check, or replace C690, C691 and C692 on the power supply board. I've
seen a number of Sony monitors with bad caps causing low heater
voltage.

Some more recent Sony monitors use about 5v on the heaters, but I'm
pretty sure this one should be 6.3v (it's not labeled on the
schematic).
