Toshiba DVD player firmware
I have a Toshiba SD-3750 DVD player with a number of minor, but
annoying bugs. Does anyone know if there's a firmware update available for this player? I've checked Toshiba's web site, but not found anything available to the public. Andy Cuffe -- Use this address until 12/31/2005 -- Use this address after 12/31/2005 |

The only Toshiba I'm actually familiar with that has updates is the one(s)
similar to the Onkyo DV-C600, 610, etc. It's a 6 disc carousel model, not 5. I've heard that Toshiba does not make the kits or firmware readily available, preferring to have the work done at regional centers. Onkyo is more open about it. It is a bit tricky, involves hooking up a serial cable ( IIRC) to your computer, booting to a clean DOS disc, and running their update program from the DOS prompt. Mark Z.
