shut down
hi all, have this computer intel pentium 111 processor,644 mhz 288 mb ram
with windows xp make micron. problem is for the last two weeks when i go to start turn off computer it take about five minute before it shut down would like to know if anyone have had tis problem and if so how can i correct this problem? thanks in advance. |

This isn't really the best group for this, sounds like a software problem. I would start by trying a spyware removal program and a virus scanner then go from there. |

644MHZ with XP, good luck, I am surprised that the thing has not been slow
the whole time. Go online and download system mechanic and go through all their optimization stuff. I personally feel that over time systems collect garbage from everywhere and need to be re-imaged, that is wipe everything out and start over. I you do decide to do that install windows 2000 and enjoy a much faster system. I you do decide to do that install windows 2000 and enjoy a much faster system.
