Need help:Sony STR AV 920
Hello all,
my problem with this sony receiver is that i get Protector display message.i made this problem myself. while checking voltages on the STK 3102III my probe slipped and shorted something out.after i did this slip i got the protector display. the left side speaker output had no output thats way i was checking the stk 3102. all 6 trans. on the heatsink checked out ok before and after i slipped with the probe. i installed a new stk 3102 III but no help. i have 59 dc volts on the 2 large caps. does anybody have any ideas what i can check or replace to get this receiver up and making audio again?? If You change some components in the output stage,You will for sure
need to adjust both bias and Idle current. Protect circuit is detecting on both(Not always). "Kb2rev" skrev i melding ... Measure for a DC offset at the emitters of each transistor pair with respect
