Proview monitor problem

I have a Proview Pro-735 monitor that has a transformer in the switching
power supply making a fairly loud buzzing noise. After listening with a
stethoscope, it sounds as if it might have some internal arcing. You can
also notice some lines going across the screen periodically. I was
wondering if someone else might have had this problem and is this a
problem that the factory might be having with this model? Thanks for any
info, Rob

I have found the problem after some checking, it turned out to be an
open 150uf@400v eletrolytic cap. I replaced it with a 105 degree cap.
Thanks, Rob
