Pb with Sony CPD-20SF2T Monitor

Hi everyone !

I have a pb with a sony CPD-20SF2 monitor. Picture is very sink, i have no
more green color on display, only red and blue, and big black horizontal
bars. I tried to check adjustments on the monitor itself, but picture is
still bad.. When i increase luminosity, screen becomes gradually black, and
when i decrease, it becomes brighter... I have obtained Sony Service
Repairing plans for this model. Where should i start to search ? Has someone
already solved this kind of problem ?
Thanks for your answers !

Sincerely

Erik

This would require proper troubleshooting. Going by your description,
this is a failed component(s), not an adjustment.

The power supply would have to be verified, and then analyse the
problem by following the signal path with a scope to see what the
cause is.

Thanks for your help , Jerry. When you say "signal path", you mean video
signal or electric signal on the output of the alimentation ? Someone told
me i have to check all capacitors because some of can be dry. If you hear
more informations, don' t hesitate,

sincerely

Erik
